Twitching

My right eye is starting to twitch a lot has been going on for about 2 weeks now, starting to drive me a bit nuts.  Have been taking all my supplements including Magnesium, doesn't seem to be working.

Think I'll just go out tonight, have some fun and try not to think about it.

I get the incessant eye twitch from stress. My friends at least know it's not a good sign of what can happen next. It's kinda like a time bomb ticking away. I try to detach myself from any emotional response at that point and see everything objectively. Works most of the time, but also requires a moment alone. If I don't get that moment the eye twitching won't stop.

Eye twitching can be related to lack of sleep.  Are you getting enough ZZZZ's?

Had a bit of an outburst today at work, ended up yelling at my boss down the phone for treating me like i was a friggin idiot. Really, really condescending.  Told him to never speak to me like that way again as he was really out of line.

Hopefully I haven't lost my job, but this guy is just being ridiculous with what he is asking me to do.  I got in trouble today because I had to go to a doctors appointment as well. Plonker!

And I meant it's the same way here in the US in SOME PLACES, I thought I typed that, don't know what happened to it.

It's the same way here in the US even with the ADA they try to figure out ways to force you out if they know you have mental illness.  They just have to be extremely careful about it because it's against the law.  I was told at work for example after I had a breakdown from Geodon withdrawal if I didn't keep my work and psychosis separated I was going to be fired and that's almost word for word, just the perspective of it being said is changed around.  I am told that is extremely against the ADA and I guess I'm going to have to look into it more.

Not until I get through probation but even then they will try to force me out I know it.

Yeah unfortunately as far as I know you don't have an equivalent of the ADA like we do in the US which would protect you from them discriminating against you.

Really tired at the moment, have had some family issues since this post has side swiped me a bit and thrown me into depression.  Looks like my plan has to go into action, contacting my pyschologist and disability counsellor tomorrow.  I think I have an appointment with a new psychiatrist in a couple of days also so I'll give him a call tomorrow also if I get a chance.

Looks like I managed to catch it before it hit me too hard, downed one and a half tablets of Xanax which managed to fend of the worst of it, I could feel myself crashing.  Have made a point to write details in my journal so that my little team can read and know whats going on, just need to point them to it.

Have spent the last day sleeping, really tired, sunlight feels a little bright but thankfully not that much it hurts.  I don't think I've hurt myself too much.  But need to recharge, have run my Magicians Mana (brain energy) down a little as I like to call it.

It ***** when you think you are doing relatively ok and get sideswiped.  Feel like I've had my legs taken out from under me.  Work doesn't know I'm Bipolar and I'm on probation so I'll have to keep a low profile tomorrow, just aim on getting through the day.  Its times like this I wish I could tell them, but know I'd be out of a job the very next day.

Just make sure to inform your psychiatrist as there are some psychiatric medications that can cause movement disorders both temporary and permanent and its best to keep them updated.

Once my eye starts twitching, I start up on magnesium.  It usually takes anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to start working.  Maybe you're ingesting something that interferes with your ability to absorb the magnesium?
