Don't do it-it literally destroys sections of your brain, might as well have a lobotomy. What meds are you on?

My uncle has had several ECT treatments.  His memory isn't that good anymore because of it but he says it saved his life.

I was put in a mental hospital, they took away all privalages. I could not make ant decitions or do what i wanted.  But somehow i sighned a permission release for ect treatments.  I had 30 treatments, 5 times a week for 6 weeks.  I have lost 90% of my memory!  Cant remember my chidhood, or my 3 childrens childhood.  Short term memory is almost gone. Can not hold a job, cant remember halp the time what i doing.  Ect treatments have taken my life away.  My husband tells me that he misses the old me.  I suffer everyday.
