If there are denials as regards coverage as regards specialists perhaps that could be appealed. If there is a lack of appropriate specialists in the area then it might be worthwhile to call a referral number. Nami is a worthwhile aency as regards referral information for psychiatrists and what tpe of coverage they might accept. Agencies that advocate on behalf of veterans should directly be able to assist.  There are a number of agencies that could specifically advocate on your behalf as regards coverage and care you need.
