i still insist that BP is a biological disorder of some sort. So while other psych illness suffer from symptoms which seem purely psychological, in BP there are physical or say mechanical phases or wave cycles of depression then mania. To me there is a missing link there is something like a deficiency in some hormones, neurotransmitters, etc...

God has not created an illness without creating its cure this is the philosophy adopted by older civilizations and religions, so possibly B6, B12, sam-e, tryptophan, glutamine, etc...GABA, etc... omega-3 can lift this disease. for example in my case while all the family eat fish, i can eat a 6 pounds fish at once without being satisfied. Sure there must be in it something i lack in my body, omega3, gaba
The problem when you consult a pdoc he resorts directly to an MS, this what they teach them in the medical school. I want to draw the attention, that if we go back in history using a time machine of H.G. Wells then in the old ages sure there were manic depressive people. Alright. Don't convince me that their behavior is so irrational like ours. True they can be elated, depressed, or used upon exorcists to extract the devil in them sometimes or in asylum if very bad, but here we all suffer continuously. I believe this is from the side effects of our deadly drugs. I am not encouraging people of take them off or dispense of them, for there is no other KNOWN alternative so far, but i am just saying there must be other routes unexplored yet, and it's of our duty to go discovering them. I am not looking for a magic pill i am suggesting we go to mother nature for a solution
