does anyone know anything about celexa?  for depression I have been on wellbution 300 mg lexapro paxil ... i can't find anything that continues to work for my depression. It seems to work for a little while and then stops. Or maybe it's  just me? my diagnosis is bipolar 2 although sometimes I think it's bipolar1 with depression. I never have any energy and i feel trapped in my house. I am very antisocial. I don't want to be. I just cant help it . I feel like I am holding my self hostage. My brain wants to do but my body has no energy :{

I know how you feel, i drive home after dropping off the kids to school with all these things i want to do and then i just cant do them, sometimes its hard to even empty the dishwasher and then other times I can be so productive. Its like I said in the other post, inconsistancy. mary mary quite contrary thats my life. I dont know anything about the meds sorry but just wanted to let you know you are not alone, I would say the best part of 3 yrs for me have been in the depressed state, sometimes only just functioning, have you tried therapy as well as meds. take care

you are not alone at all. i go through the same thing. i take 20mg a celxa a day with my lithium i have been on it for about a year and it seems to help. i was going through meds like every 3months they would have to change the deppresion med because it would stop working. my progression has been good with the celxa and like i said iv been on it a year and its still working. they did have to change me from depakote to lithium in october and since then my meds have been good.it took awhile for it to become effective which they will tell you can be 1-4 weeks. my energy level still isnt right though.
