risperdal withdrawal

i stopped taking  risperdal a week ago and i feel lousy. can anyone relate     ?  im still on lithium.

I experienced what ILADVOCATE touched base on as well as other unpleasant things like frequent increased tics than what I experience normally when I went cold turkey off of Geodon.

   When I was transferred from Seroquel to Risperdal (at the titration rate my psychiatrist instructed me to follow) it took me several weeks of what I was told were "flu like withdrawal symptoms" (not unsafe but just uncomfortable) for them to subside. This has happened with other medications as well. I always knew that as long as what I was doing was under my psychiatrist's supervision that the concerns that would emerge would not be severe and would pass in time but if I had any specific concerns that I would discuss it with them.
