Can Plan B causes your period to be late??

I am now 7 days late took a pregnancy test and it was negative . I really don't think I'm pregnant., and I CAN NOT have another child right now.....!!!  I am having cramps like its about to start but still nothing . I took  plan b 2days after sex. Which is 48 hours. ... I have taking plan b before and gotten my period at the expected time... This time it hasn't. I was pretty regular 28 , 29 day cycles before I've gotten pregnant ... After I had my daughter in 2012 my periods has been from 23, 24, 25 , 26, 27 day cycles. Today is the 33 day in my cycle... And yet no period.! I took a wot digital pregnancy test this past Sunday and it came out negative.. Also took a test this morning which was also negative..  I also have a period app that helps me keep on track. I had sex 3 days after my last period .. And according to the app I didn't ovulate til 6 days after I had sex and I took plan b 2 days after sex .. This app has been pretty accurate for me cause I can usually feel when I ovulate.. .. Please help!!

Yes, Plan B can delay your period, make you miss it, make it come early, and do other funky things to your cycle.  The sooner you take it to the unprotected sex, the more likely it is to work.  Since you took it within the 72 hour time slot, you are most likely fine and just experiencing a side effect.  Keep in mind the app goes based off an average and can't predict exactly when you ovulate, which is why it's best never to go unprotected.

If it will ease your mind, you can ask your doctor for a blood test as they are more sensitive than a urine test.
