Does loestrin cause weight gain?

Does anyone know if loestrin 24 fe will cause weight gain??
every birth control i have been on i have been gaining weight.... and i looked up loestrin and it said it doesnt and you get lighter shorter periods.... and only have it for 3 days or so...
im not on any birth control rite now but i just got my results back from my papsmear and it said its ab-normal! whatever that means. And im scared to go back on  birth control since my miscarriage that was back in 2008!! =0[
someone help... please

hunny get off yasmin asap!! i was on it and had alot and i mean ALOT of stomach issues since i have been off it after my miscarriage i stopped getting stomach issues!! yasmin is known to cause issues with organs!! its been on the news and in the newspapers along with being on the internet!! i left a post awhile ago about this pill!! i was in the hospital with IVs and everything and no one could figure out what was wrong with me and since i stoped that pill i have been better!! rite now im in the middle of sueing yasmin!!!!

i repeat get off it asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was on it from 9th grade up to 2007!! and 2007 is when i started having my issues!!!!  i didnt have issues with yasmin untill '07 i was fine and it was working then i started having stomach pains and intigestin issues!! just please get off it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Birth control does not cause abnormal pap smears. You have to follow up with your obgyn on your pap smears because you had an abnormal one. Most women who have abnormal pap's, normally have a normal one at the follow up visit. Any birth control can cause weight gain...some are just worse then others. Like the depo shot...is horrible, never get that bc. I'm on Yasmin and never had any issues with it.

Please f/u with your doctor. Abnormal pap smears could mean nothing...but sometimes they can come back with results of HPV or pre-cancerous cells. I advise you to follow up with another pap smear.
