Heavy bleeding a week after taking PlanB

Monday, April 14 to Friday, April18 I had my period. I took PlanB on April 27. I had light brown blood on Friday, May 2. I started having heavy red blood on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4. I was supposed to ovulate on May 2, according to my cycle. Instead, I've been bleeding and cramping since Friday. My next period wasn't supposed to happen until Monday, May 19. I am always regular with moderate to light bleeding. This bleeding is very heavy and making me weak. I have NEVER had two periods in one month. I've had my period for 15 years now. This is my first time ever taking PlanB and my last.
The package and the website say nothing about bleeding heavily. It says:
"Some women may have changes in their period, such as a period that is heavier or lighter or a period that is early or late".
"Side effects may include menstrual changes, nausea, lower stomach (abdominal) pain, tiredness, headache, dizziness, breast pain, and vomiting".

When I think of an early period, I sure as hell don't think 3 weeks early!  I think days early. This "medication" is very misleading and they need to change what the side effects are.

So, my question is this:
Is this normal? Should I be worried? This is a lot of blood to loose in 2 weeks time.

I know that the way it is worded isn't completely clear but the fact is, anytime you take plan b, it's going to cause some kind of impact on your period. Whether it's breakthrough bleeding, spotting, no period, a heavy periods, or anything in between, any of those can and do happen to someone who takes it.

If it were me, I wouldn't be worried about it at this time. Your next period will likely be different due to the plan b. But probably by the next period, you should be back to normal. Until then, I wouldn't worry yet.

It's really worrying me. I just wish it was more clear and reliable of an out come. When I read the package of possible side effects, this not being listed scared me. I've never had such a heavy period before and I've never had two periods in the same 30 days, let alone 14 days apart. The cramps are horrible as well. The unknown is what bothers me the most. I mean, what's the reason that I bled and others don't? Very frustrating.

Anytime you mess with your hormones, especially using Plan B, it's going to affect your menstrual cycle. That's a elm known fact. So, I really wouldn't worry about it unless you have a problem after your next period. Then start worrying. But right now, no, because it's just a side effect from the plan b. I'm sure of it.
