I missed a pill am I still protected during my placebo pill

I am using a contraceptive pill for more than 4 years now and now, 1 missed a pill on my 3rd week my 18th day I usually took it 7pm but I remembered it 9am then I took it immediately and took my pill as usual. I am still protected? What should I do.please help

Missing one pill is likely okay.  I believe you are supposed to take it either as soon as you remember or take two together if you don't do that.  https://www.webmd.com/sex/birth-control/forgot-to-take-your-birth-control-pills  You should still be protected if you do this.  If you miss more than one pill, you need to call your doctor and I'd use back up like condoms.  good luck
