IUD

I had a copper IUD put in a week ago and now I have a white pastie discharge. Is this normal?

It sounds like a yeast infection.  The hormones from the IUD may be causing your PH levels to change in your vagina.  Please call your gynecologist and let them know they will give you treatment for the infection

Im not positive what it could be but I think you should contact your doctor. It could just be normal discharge but i would contact your doctor since it started to occur right after the IUD was inserted.
