Late period

HI there, please can I get an opinion, I've just came of the YAZ pill 3 months now which I was taking for about 8 months, and period was on time for 2 months since of the pill, this is the 3rd month and I'm 3 days late. I did a test this morning but its negative and my breasts are sore for 1 week now, I have a little discharge this week n some cramps. In the past I was irregular but a doctor helped me balance before going on the pill... what could it be?

If your period was irregular before you started taking the pill then it will be irregular after you quit the pill. The pill doesn't cure irregular periods, it just regulates the cycle while you're on it. But once you stop taking it, the irregularity will return eventually.

It could just throw off your period I know a lot of ppl that went through it sometimes you get it sometimes you don't. If it doesn't come for a week you can take a test but I'm sure it's just the bc throwing it off
