Periods after depo?

I'm getting so pissed off now, I was on the pill a year from 15-16, and then september (2010) I decided to get the injection because I wasn't good with my pills and I werent planning on getting pregnant anytime soon.

I was supposed to get my next injection on November 30th (2010) but I didnt, because i hadn't had a period since April/May (2010) so I decided to let my body get back to normal. I had a period november 14th (2010) it was really painful but wasn't as much blood as I would expect, I knew I wasn't probably ovulating, Anyways, I didn't get a period December 14th, didn't think I would really.

But 12 days ago, i got egg white mucus, there was alot of it, and i noticed my cervix was pretty high, so I thought maybe I'm one of the lucky ones that will get my periods back quick.. I have slightly tender boobs and increased appeitite, could this be my period or depo messing with my head?

what are your stories on depo, I've heard alot of horror stories about it, sorry for the long essay.

thanks for all answers (: x

No im not on it now. In Feb. it will be 6 years since I have used any type of b/c. Pretty sure I miscarried in June/July. Never went to the Dr or anything cuz if I was prego it woulda been too early to tell anyways. I just bled A LOT (tampon every 2 hours) this lasted about 2ish weeks and at the end I had 2 large clots come out and within 1 day I had stopped bleeding all together.

I have normal periods but this last one, I started bleeding again a week later (after period started n stopped). Went to the Dr n he put me on 10 day supply of Provera. It stopped the bleeding and I am now waiting for my period again. It's supposed to start 5-7 days after that last pill. I am on day 7 n still haven't had it yet. Some people have ended up being pregnant after taking provera!! :) Apparently, it used to be used as a preg. test. If you got ur period after it then u werent preggo, if u didnt get it then u were.

Sorry this is so long lol... It's just nice to have other people to talk to that are having similar things happening to them :)

Hehe, thankyou (:
But im sure, 2 weeks ago i ovulated or something.. because i got so much egg white cervical mucus, it was in my knickers sorry tmi, and my cervix was very soft and high, i had sex 2 days prior to that and a day after ovulation (if that was) i was feeling pretty frisky then aswell  LOL. im always constantly hot now, im normaly always freezing.

are you on depo now?

The depo can really screw with ur cycle. I was on it for 2 yrs i think. After the shot, i didn't get a period for 2 months, then the last month I would bleed pretty much the whole time until I got the next shot.

Since it's been about 2 weeks since you "thought" you should've had a period I would definately take a test. Going by the information here, your last period was on Nov. 14th. which was about 6 weeks ago? All women are different though. I believe my period came back normal within the 3 months after my last shot. (normal time for the shot to wear off).

So, in short... you could very likely be pregnant, or just not back to normal yet. Let me know what u find out! :)
