MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
When a woman is on birth control pills menstrual bleeding usually occurs during the week that no hormones are being taken. There are several reasons why you might experience a missed period while on birth control pill. There are few birth control pills which may stop your menses for a particular period. Pregnancy is also possible cause of missed periods if you have not been taking pills regularly have been affected by diarrhea, vomiting which may affect the absorption and efficacy of pills. While on birth control pills if you miss two periods consecutively it is best to see  a gynecologist and switch over to some other brand which may allow  you to menstruate every month. Seek medical help.
Best luck and regards!
