Paragard and late period?

So I got paragard in like May 2014 first few months were hell talk about a heavy flow it was terrible, after a few month i was finally able to control it and my period was consistent for the first time ever I could pin point it to come around or on the 10th day of every month. Till this month the tenth come an gone an still no period. I chose paragard because it was non hormonal and I don't have to remember a pill it's already in place. But I am 2 weeks late an I've taken 2 hpt now both negative. I don't like not having a period but idk why I could be so late. Help anyone with paragard experienced the same thing? I'm a truck driver so I'm hardly home an my dr. Moved so I don't have a dr. Right now. As soon as I find one I plan to make an appointment.

I don't have experience with paraguard because I've been using mirena since 2011. I hope someone with paraguard experience will chime in and give you some direction.

I'm not sure whether a non hormonal method of bc would cause a missed period. I know for sure that mirena can cause lack of periods but I'm not sure about paraguard. I think you might need to go see a doc to find out for sure. I know you're most likely on the road a lot but even just a walk in clinic can do a serum pregnancy test to rule out being pregnant. That's what I'd do if I was in your shoes.
