u can def get them at a planned parenthood or womens health center. if you dont like condoms i would encourage your bf to get tested to make sure he does not have a STD. safe sex is preventing pregnancy and std's, the pill can not prevent STD's. i know it is hard to talk to your mother, if you are choosing not to do that then you are making the right choice to get birth control, i did the same thing when i was your age. make sure you follow what the prescriber says, you have to wait a month until you can have unprotected sex and if you take an anitbiotic use condoms, these can make the pill non effective. sex is a wonderful thing to share with someone you love, at such a young age just be careful who you share it with love and lust can often be confused :) good luck, be safe
you should be using a condom b/c of std's!!!
Hello. As a mother myself, I would want my daughter to use birth control AND condoms -one for disease prevention, and the other for pregnancy protection. If you don't have an open relationship with your Mom, and are not able to tell her why you need birth control, you can contact the Planned Parenthood in your area. Believe me, an ounce of prevention is better than an unplanned pregnancy or getting a disease that could affect you for the rest of your life. Please try to talk to your Mom. Shew may not like what she's hearing, but if you become pregnant, it may be her that has to care for your child while you finish school or pay for your medical care while you die from AIDS or hepatitis B. If you can't find the inner strength to abstain from sex, please use condoms and get a hepatitis B vaccine. ((((((((((((((((((HUGZ))))))))))))~MM
