When missing pills and starting my period, should i finish the pack of pills?

I've missed taking some of my birth control pills, then remembered to start taking them again, then I started my period du to the missed pills. Should I continue taking the rest of my pills? Or should I stop and let my period take its course?

Always take your missed doses as soon as possible, no matter whether you're already bleeding or not. Your cycle will regulate itself again in time. Consider downloading an app like Medisafe to remind you to take the medication.

You can keep taking them but use back up contraceptives as your birth control is only effective when you take them everyday, at the same time. Try setting a reminder on your phone or taping them to your bathroom mirror where you will see them every morning/night when you do your daily routine. Best of luck!
