birth control

I gave birth on may 17 2013 nd before i was discharge on da 19 i got the depo shot and from there i been bleeding everyday untill dis month of july 2013 is tht normal?? To be honest i never used a birth control before i got pergo is there a way i can change to a different birth control ?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that it can be normal, and not uncommon to have bleeding like you are describing after starting depo Provera injections.  Usually if you stick with the method for another one or two injections the bleeding will get much better and maybe go away completely so that you don't even have periods.  IF you don't like the method, just make an appointment with the provider that delivered your baby to discuss the different methods--there are lots--pill, IUD, inplantable contraceptives, patches, etc.
