could i be pregnant

I had my son last February ..I got pregnant on birth control that i had been on for 5 years. after i had my son,  I went on nuva ring but that wasn't working for me. so my ob put me on mirena! I was so relieved that i didnt have to worry about taking a pill at the same time every day. but now in the past few months, i have been feeling sick, nautious, eating funny. one day i will be craving certain things and the next no appetite.. i have been so tired, just like i was when i was pregnant with my son. my breasts have been so sore and i have been cramping alot.. I dont know what is going on. my boyfriend just keeps telling me that it is not possible, and we fight alot. constantly.. i keep telling him that i am feeling the same as i did when i was pregnant before.. i just dont know.. Please please help me.

It is possible that u could be pregnant. I know a girl who is currently 6-7 months pregnant with her 4th. She was had an IUD (not sure which one) and she didnt find out she was pregnant til her 4th month. I would suggest taking a HPT (home pregnancy test) and seeing what the results are. Could never hurt to know right?

Thank you so much for answering me. I was starting to wonder if anyone was going to.. well I have been on Mirena for going on a year now. I have loved it. not having to remember to take a stupid pill everyday at the same time.. it would be impossible for me now that I have my son.. he keeps me on my feet and sometimes things just slip my mind. so Mirena is PERFECT for me! I never thought to ask my doctor about the whole ur body can have symptoms like it is pregnant but not actually be pregnant.. and I knew that it was a very slim chance I could get pregnant with the IUD! I have taken many home pregnancy tests and all negative! well I have my anual exam coming up so maybe I will talk to him about that. thank you for your input on my question.. by the way, my name is Sheena. Nice to meet you. and thanks :)

Well I don't know how long you have had your IUD but I have had mine for about a year now.  I have not had any problems with it.  I as well got pregnant on a BC pill.  And ended up losing the baby so I got the mirena IUD.  I had one period since which was a month after I got it.  So a few times throughout the year I would be the same way, emotional, eating all the time, craving things, exhausted, moody, just like I was pregnant.  I did take a home pregnancy test just to make sure I wasn't pregnant, and sure enough I wasn't.  I read somewhere that sometimes with hormone released BC your body can react like its pregnant.  I called my dr to just make sure and asked why I was feeling like I was pregnant and she said that its ok and it can be normal for some woman.  Just as long as I check my string regularly and its there in place im fine.  But your chances on getting pregnant is less than 1% on the IUD.  Its more effective than getting your tubes tied.  But if you are really concerned take a test.
