female problems

hey im 14, and i want to start birth control, so i won't have a period every month, and i was wondering if it was a good decision?

im also 14 and on ocella, a birthcontrol pill, the pills DO NOT stop your period, it just makes it less then a usual week, mine is 5 days. Now the DEPO shot, you may have your period non stop for about a month, the horomnoes in the shot finishes cleaning you out... it really depends on what birth control your wanting, but almost every typer of birth control you have your period

hey,

i was 16 when i went on the pill mainly to regulate them speak to your doctor she will put you on a mild one for period purposes. you start takin the pill on the first day of your period the first time for 21 days then a break for 7 days they will regulate then n eventually ease n lessen in time to maybe 3-5 days but it would be unual for your periods to stop cos on the pill you still get periods. hope this helps.

You can if you want over all its your decision i personaly wouldnt because your period cleans out your area
