forgot to take BC

I really need some help I have no idea what to think. I have been on orthro tri-cyclen lo for a couple years now. I accidently forgot to take my pill two days in a row. We were moving and I just completely spaced it. So I missed Sat and Sun. On Monday I woke up bleeding and I figure it's probably just because I missed the birth control those two days. But usually after I finish my pill pack I don't get my period until 4 days later. It wasn't like my normal periods, really light in comparison and its only lasted 2 days and its done now. What is the likliness that it's just from not taking the pills. Because also I think this has happened right around my time of ovulation as well.

I appreciate the post. The pills I missed were In the beginning of the pill back I want to say the second week. But we did have unprotected sex at the time. So that is why I'm concerned about it. Since then I have had some weird cramping I guess you can call it. It didnt feel like my normal menstrual cramps. More like sharp almost stabbing pains at times and other times it was a dull pain. and Once where I felt like I was literally being torn apart.  So I dont know what to think about that. Other than that I finished th e pill back and I am supposed to start tomorrow so I guess well see what happens

Light bleeding can occur if you miss a few pills, especially if you are near the end of your birth control cycle anyways.

As far as pregnancies would be concerned, you would have had to been having unprotected sex around the time of your ovulation and been missing your pills around that same time, for there to be a high likelihood of pregnancy. Thats a very imprecise explaination of that timing intersection, but as someone who has been on birth control before and still accidentally gotten pregnant because I missed a day or two, I assure you it can definitely happen.

But if you weren't having sex, then at least the pregnancy wouldnt be an issue.

When you take the pills that make you have your period, it's the same as takin no pills because the period pills are blank. Keep taking the rest of your month and start fresh on the next pack. Missing more than one pill in a row can cause slight bleeding but it's normal
