You would have sex when it says you are ovulating.

And I hope you can give your father that!  I'm sure it would mean so much to you for him to have met your child and to him for the same reason.  I just wanted to make sure you realized it so you don't sit there and expect it and get too discouraged if it doesn't happen right away.

I'd also note it'll probably not happen until after your next shot is due, meaning you're not protected by the shot any longer.  If your next shot isn't due for another two months, for instance, then it would possibly be impossible within that time frame.  But if it's due in a few weeks, then after that you stand a chance so long as you don't get that next shot, which I'm sure you understand.

Be aware it's not always possible for a woman who hasn't been on any form of birth control to get pregnant "immediately."  Getting pregnant should not be a race.  If you're putting yourself under the stress of "I HAVE to get pregnant NOW," you're going to be adding a layer of stress that's going to work against you getting pregnant.  Sometimes it can take up to a year.

Buy an ovulation kit so you will know when or if you ovulating. You can get it over the counter.  Also make an appt to see your OB/GYN to discuss your options.
