mirena

I had the mirena for 3 yrs basically was on my period the whole time maybe get a day or two off a week well this yr about march it kind of stopped altogether. I went to a docter to get it removed because of the pain i was constantly experiencing, and they had did a pap and i had an abnormal pap so they set a date for a biopsy and the mirena removed. I was 113lbs three weeks later i had both done i weighed 121lbs. My breast have grown beastly from a 34b to a c i havent seen my **** this big since my last pregnancy, my butt has also grown pretty big. Ive had a couple of people that know me and a couple people that doesnt know me but has seen pictures and there asking if im pregnant. I know the mirena throws off a pregnancy test ive had two friends get pregnant but only a blood test showed it. And was wondering i started my period a couple days after the mirena removal then stopped and havent started back, my body is showing symptoms but idk i had a csection and they said it takes time for your organs to get back to normal but theres a lot of weird movement????? Any oppinion

I have had two friends that has taken pregnancy test on the mirena which came back negative and there bodies were still growin they went to have a blood test comes to find out they was pregnant one was three momths along and the other was 5 months they both had tp get it removed but they had plenty of test pop negative but they really were. And once the mirena was removed about a month later i asked both of them to try a test again and it popped positive so i do believe the mirena throws a test

Hi!
Mirena will not affect a pregnancy test.  If you were my patient, I would recommend that you do a home pregnancy test first.  If the results are not clear, or if you are not satisfied, then, your ob/gyn could order a blood pregnancy test for you.  If it comes back positive, you probably are pregnant,   because almost nothing causes a false positive test.
Good luck!
