mirena

I got the mirena iud a couple of wks ago...I haven't had any cramping but I'm bleeding like a normal period everyday since...if I'm laying in bed I'm fine then when I start moving around cleaning and such I start to cramp and the bleeding starts...I was wondering if anyone else had experienced anything like this? how long did the bleeding last? I have no other problems besides the bleeding to complain about help!, is there light at the end of the tunnel? and what other contraceptive do you recommend if I decide to take it out? pls!

yea but I think I'm freaking myself out more because I keep reading all of the forums and threads about different women who have tried it and have bled ever since they had it put in...I know everyone is different but there seems to be a lot of common side effects between a lot of women I'm going to give it another two months and if I don't see any difference it is coming out!

I've read that bleeding and cramping can be normal up to 6 months of insertion. It takes that long for your body to adjust to the device plus Mirena has hormones that make your body go out of wack for a little till your body gets used to them as well. If you don't feel comfortable just remove it at least you gave it a try.
