If your hormones are out of balance that could definitely be the reason you are bleeding. I had this same problem and had to go on a pill with more progesterone and less estrogen. The bleeding stopped immediately. I have a horomone imbalance and getting the right balance of hormones in a bc pill has been a trial and error process for sure, but definitely get it checked and then get on the right pill for you.
Hi Keekeegaines,
I had the same problem a few years ago and my doc advised me to lay off the hormonal birth control. I did and the bleeding stopped after about 2 weeks. You may want to consider non hormonal contraceptives. Sorry to hear you are going through this.
What kind of doctor are you seeing? Is it just a plain doctor or is it an obgyn? If this is an obgyn and is not helping then you need to find a new doc who will spend the time to properly diagnose your problem. Have you ever had an ultrasound to see what's going on in your uterus? Because if not then that's the first problem. You need to find a doctor who will help you because bleeding for that long is very unhealthy and could lead to severe anemia. Don't get to the point where you'll need blood transfusions. Get a CBC done to find out where your hemoglobin level is now and start taking iron supplements with Vitamin C and get back to the doctor to force them to find out what's wrong.
