should i be bleeding 7 days after removing Mirena and beginning Pill?

Is this normal to start bleeding a day or two after a mirena removal even though I am taking active pills? when can i expect to stop? Will i bleed again when on the period cycle of pill? how long can i expect to normalize completely?

I have had a IUD in for 9 years. The copper for 5 and mirena for 4. On the copper i got normal periods. On the Mirena i had a few spottings that warranted only a panty liner!

Now that I have had it removed 7 days ago I am so confused as to what to expect and am not sure if what I am going through is normal or cause for concern.

As explained, I have been bleeding very lightly from day 2 of the Pill and post Mirena. I want to have an idea of when this will stop and if I should expect a normal period when the Pill dictates I should get one. And when can I expect to regulate completely?

Advice and shared experiences will be greatly appreciated, please.

Kind regards,
CB
