skipping periods

Hi i have a serious question...i've been on birth control for a month and a half now and i had an event comming up this weekend (my birthday) so i continued the next pack instead of taking the sugar pills and starting my period...and last night me and my bf decided to have sex without a condom and he finished in me...will i be pregnant?...i have never missed a pill only a few time took them a little late.
i have researched about taking the pill continuously and it says its ok for up to 3 months and if any longer you may eventually run to health issues...but i just did it this one time.
but my concern is that will i become pregnant because i continued the next pills instead of starting my period???

i wanted to call teen health center where i purchase my pills but for some  unconvienant reason they are closed on the weekend

no, they were even thinking of a new birth control without sugar pills so you never had to have a period.  You will not get pregnant by skipping the sugar pills as long as you only have a (maximum) seven day break between active pills for your period.
