Can Birth Control make you feel wired

Hello doctor or anyone,
  Am on Birth Control for my period not for having sex, I forget to take one pill one day and I wondering if birth Control make you have Anxiety or depression, it not the first time I felt that way?

Thanks, I have been on this one for about a year or so, so I don't know it my second time missing it. I guess I have to wait till the 20th, to ask my family doctor if it can cause Anxiety or depression in someone, or if am over thinking stuff that can cause the anxiety the some people think is depression.  Thank for writing back

It is possible for birth control to cause mood side effects; however, these are usually experienced from the beginning.  My friend had to go through many pills before she found one that didn't affect her moods.  Unfortunately, this is a possibility whenever hormones are involved.  Don't give up!
