Life After the Merina IUD

I have had the Merina IUD out since June 9th and I have only had two periods since then which are spaced about 6 weeks apart.  I recently just missed the next 6 week mark... could I be pregnant? I have taken some tests that are negative but I'm worried that my body may have just stopped ovulating?  What can I do?
Thanks!

Oh well I read that wrong, lol.  Sorry!

Usually your fertility is supposed to return soon after taking Mirena out.  I think you may be pregnant OR your body is still adjusting to life without the extra hormones.

Sometimes with Mirena you don't have periods.  I would take a test to be on the safe side but its probably nothing.

PS: Hormonal birth control is meant to stop ovulation as it's primary method to prevent pregnancy.  If you hadn't stopped ovulating the birth control would be useless.
