I take Yasmin and it took my body a good 4 months to get used to it and now I think I'm having to go through it again because I had to miss a full week before starting a new pack. For some reason I think with that birth control it just takes a long time to get regulated (at least for me) but once you do it is great. I can tell you just about the hour I'm going to start my period. I don't remember a lot of nausea but I remember cramping a lot and spotting a lot with horrible mood swings. Maybe you should switch back to whatever the doctor gave you in place of Yasmin if it worked well for you.
I have taken a home pregnancy test and it was negative. That was my first thought when I was still feeling sick. The reason for stoping was a mutual decision with my partner and I.
First of all, why would you stop taking a different brand of contraceptives when you aren't nauseated any longer?
If you have stopped taking the birth control that was making you sick, and are not taking any other kind of birth control, then i would say there is another reason for the nausea.
Side effects do not last for a month. I suggest you make an appointment with your doctor. However, if you are nauseated and are taking a different birth control, then it may be that.
Still, make an appointment
