what is happening ?

hi, I'm a 19 year old girl that has been taking Mononessa birthcontrol for about 6 months now.
In the month of July I had unprotected intercourse but my partner pulled out.  Two days after I got my period.  it was pretty normal.  In the month of July I did not take the inactive pills because they are not necessary or so I heard from my doctor and after that I missed a full 28days of BC.  I was supposed to get my period again around the 15th of August but it didn't come && it still hasn't.  I started taking birth control pills again on the day I should've started a new pack in August && I still haven't gotten my period.  now I'm just discharging some beigish discharge.  I haven't had any period or pregnancy symptoms.  I took an HPT and it came out negative.  what could be happening?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you to repeat the pregnancy test to be certain that is not the cause.  If not, it may be that the lining of your uterus has become thin due to the pill and there is not much to discharge at the time of your period.  i would encourage you to take another full pack to see what happens. If you still don't have a period, you may want to contact your provider and switch pills for awhile.
Good luck!
