is it normal to bleed for a day and a half after removal of urinary catheter after inguinal hernia surgery?

Hi!
Yes, many patients suffer a bleed after removal of catheter. This is due to either injury, which often heals on its own or it is due to infection. So even if the bleeding has stopped, inform your doctor and get your urine examined to rule out infection. Take care!
