So, I have an ingrown toenail and when I was treating it (mostly just cleaning and removing this odd buildup of what appears to be a really thin toenail around the outer part of my toe) I began bleeding rather heavily. The bleeding didn't last but I noticed that the blood dripping off had turned to gel in under a minute, the same for the blood that had pooled in the sink. Is this any cause for alarm, or is it as simple as I haven't been drinking enough water? I will note that before congealing, it seemed to run abnormally thin, almost like dyed water albeit about as transparent as melted red wax.
