Thank you so very much Dr. this was a big help! I was diagnosed with DVT. & I'm presently using a venous access for IV meds & blood because third stage renal failure, & anemia. I've had some problems with bleeding. I suspect that these results may have been altered because of the use of heperin.

Hello,
Disseminated intravascular coagulation is divided into three phases. The third phase is hypocoagulable phase which is the last stage of DIC and is called hypocoagulability. It can be treated by FFP, cryo, and platelets to stop the bleeding.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
