Since my last post my health problems continue and now I'm getting depressed as I don't feel doctors are taking me serious and show little compassion.
In July I was diagnosed with multiple clots on the lungs after a VQ scan because I react to ct contrast.
The treatment was anticoagulant I took Apixaban then became ill with it so switched back to injecting low molecular heparin ( clexaine ) twice a day whilst in hospital with chest discomfort and breathlessness the lung consultant said the risk of using contrast was worth taking so a ct contrast image could be done so I agreed the results have left me totally confused it was 4 months since the diagnosis and now I'm being told that my lungs are clear no signs of any clots and he said he'd not seen such good images in a long time ? So I was stopped on anticoagulant sent home.
Since then I've had a really fast heart rate considering it was 60's resting before and now it fluctuates around 95-120 it's a strange feeling but Gp isn't too concerned I asked if this was normal or could it be affects of p.e's or the angiogram I had in cardio cathedral lab where the results showed just a 40% narrowing of left decending coronary artery & fairing of arteries due to genetically high cholesterol hypalipademia.
Now on top of all this I'm breathless wiped out feel little lumps with my finger at base of tonsil cavity left side of the throat it's only noticeable if I put finger down back left side of throat under where tonsil sits it's a gagging feeling little pea like lumps sometimes stick out more than other days my Ent can't see them with camera down the nose and I said I have to put my finger down side of tongue back of throat under tonsil like they're hidden from view it's a lot of symptoms to take in on top of swelling now and then on right side of neck few hard masses in shoulder area along with a burning pain upper left arm comes and goes but makes me feel strange I feel like my life is over as nobody takes me serious because I have M.E if I had money I'd go private as Aintree University Hospital & my GP'S are failing me.
Any sensible suggestions gratefully received.
Kind regards
Billy

Thanks again
Thank you for replying Doctor & i will take your advice & press my GP's & Consultants but here they are currently under the media spotlight for providing poor healthcare so it concerns me having to wait months to see anyone.
Just as of late i keep getting a swelling in my neck area on the left side right under the corotid artery & when it swells it pulsates , i know its exactly where the carotid artery sits and its only on the left side it feels like a fleshy tonsil thats the only way to describe it & it makes me feel nauseus and weak im getting weird sensations with it too like numbness in my arm and im just wondering if a carotid artery could swell this big then go down and then swell again as its happening regular now and really does concern me but if it were a carotid artery would i not have more severe symptoms, i get bad headaches all the time but they put most of my symptoms down to my m.e. this fleshy swelling cant be looked at for several weeks and my neck and throat are constantly throbbing so too are my ears please can you give me any further advice while i am waiting to see the consultant.
Thank you for your time
Hi!
If you are not on any medications like anticoagulants or blood thinners etc., then bruising could be due to clotting disorders, low platelet count, fragile spider veins, deep vein thrombus, deficiency of Vitamin B12, folic acid, or Vit K, a liver disease or certain cancers. It could also be due to pressure urticaria. You need to consult your doctor to rule out the causes.
If the chronic fatigue syndrome is due to an autoimmune disorder then this can cause petechiae or red dot like rash. Swollen lymph nodes, feeling like collapsing, headaches, brain fog are all usually due to uncontrolled CFS. Please consult your doctor for proper management. Cognitive behavior therapy, memory games, multivitamin therapy, nutritional care, graded increase in exercise all help to manage this problem. Take care!
