pituitary tumor

Hi!I was recently diagnosed with a small pituitary tumor which measured 8mm. I was wondering if that is the cause of my shooting pains in my head, headaches, fatigue and erectile problems and weight gain which seem to  be my main concerns. Been off work for a couple months now due to these symptoms and my safety at work and commuting to work and back as well. Looking foward to returning back to work hopefully soon or should I expect to be off longer do to medication.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Dear Gaets

It sounds like you have a prolactinoma and the first line of treatment is dopamine agonist (medication).
It is unlikely you will need surgery for treatment.
Please let me know if you have any specific question,

thanks

Find a pituitary center and get a neuro-endo.

Your tumor is likely a prolactinoma and medications may be tried first. I am only a patient but at least some of those symptoms I know can be attributed to your tumor.

You need a proper doctor.
