Dear Amitar,

Rumpled is correct, these are unspecific findings and most people have them. Rarely they can represent real disease as multiple sclerosis (usually they are more prominent/evident in the MRI). So, you should discuss with your doctor or a neurologist.

Until the doctor responds, I will try to help as a layman (non-doctor). The report is not specific on a disease.

When you have *hyperintense foci* - basically white spots - the cause has to be found by her doctor. The causes can vary from migraines and high blood pressure to MS and other. The radiologist also says the demylelination - which is separation of layers - is also not specific to a disease.

It is now up to your doctor to run more tests to determine a cause. Again, this is my best layman guess.
