What does it mean for My EEG to show abnormal spike while Brain MRI is normal?

I'm almost 33 but had a fall when I was 5. My mum said I had seizures and I was taken to the hospital where I recovered.

I started an MSC online classes shortly after a new job and I also started a relationship a year back after a decade break. Never had sex because I believe in waiting till I get married.

Lately, I started feeling this heavy feeling on my head with the right side of my mouth tasting funny and the right side of my head feeling unusual.Sometimes, I feel it on my forehead. Neurologist gave me amitriptyline 25mg every other day. The heavy feeling eased off but the short term memory loss, impaired speed in processing information and some headache remains.
If I undergo any emotional stress like confrontations and the likes, the medication wouldn't be effective.

I ran an EEG and I was told "Moderate-high voltage spikes on few occasions over the left fronto-centro-temporal region.  EEG is abnormal with  focal eptileptiform activities in recording.
Please, may I know what this means since the MRI is normal?
Thanks.
