When my head isn't upright, and I move to an upright position, I get dizzy

Whenever my head isn't upright, and I move to an upright position, I get so dizzy I fall over. It's been going on for a week now.
Whenever I'm sitting in bed and go to lie down I get that dizzy. When I'm laying down and go to sit up too. And even when I'm laying down on my back and move to lay on my side. I also have this awful pain going in a line across my forehead whenever I'm laying down on my back.
I'm getting really worried. I've used that neck excersise I got from a chiropractor to help muscle tension headaches, but it doesn't help at all.
