Could this be a brain tumor or migrain or other?

I'm 16 years old and i've had really bad headaches for the past 4 weeks. I'm losing my balance and i'm starting to wake up in the middle of the night EVERY night with headaches. I get dizzy and nauseous a lot now. I've taken pepto, Tylenol, Bayer, advil, and nothing seems to help. I went to the doctor about two weeks ago and he said it's just migranes but nothing is helping and nothing is going away. He suggested a deep tissue massage but when I was getting on on my head the pain was so bad I was crying, i've never had pains in my head as bad as these nor dizziness. Any idea what this could be?

I would go see a doctor again - a different doctor. There is no sense in suffering and obviously it is still there. Even it is IS migraines, there are treatments and to send you away without treatment is a travesty. Where are your parents and why did they not tell him that a massage is not a headache treatment? They should report that doctor to the state medical board and take you to a different doctor so you can get some help.

It could be hormones, migraines - so many things but a massage? Really? Get your parents to take you to another doctor asap.

Just to be safe....go to the doctor/ER and request for a CT Scan or MRI ASAP. You are only 16 and you should be enjoying life and not worrying about these pains. So, the sooner you get checked, the better. You could also have Fibromyalgia. Please keep us updated.
