My mum could have a tumor??

My mum has been deaf in one ear for years and years, but recently she has discovered a lump on her head on the opposite side of her deaf ear. Ever since she found it the ear near it has also begun to go deaf. She's been having strange smells no-one else can smell, and has been getting bad headaches as well. Im just worried she might have something like a tumor??

She has had scans in the past for her deaf ear, but nothing for this lump now. I will ensure that she books an appointment soon. Thank you.

Has she been to a doctor and had any imaging studies done or any ear testing done?

There can be tumors in the ear but usually they would not be visible on the outside - I would get to a doctor asap and get checked out. Start with an ENT and work out from there.
