Osteoma/Exostoisis

I' ve been diagnosed with a ossecus excresence representing an Osteoma/Exostosis arising in the roof of the internal auditory canal at the porus acousticus, causing significanat luminal compromise.  My symtoms are occasional lightheadedness, roaring sound in my right ear and some facial numbness.  Has anyone else experienced this....my doctor has me in a "watch and wait" status since the tumor/growth is approx 5 x 7 mm.

It never hurts to get another opinion.  Tumors of the ear require specialists and there is a place called the House Ear clinic ( or find a simiilar set of specialists) and I would either contact them for another opinion or find a doctor trained by them.

Make sure too that you have copies of all MRIs and reports for your records.
