Prolactinoma-feeling bad all the time

I have a micro prolactinoma (less then 0.5 cm) and I'm currently not taking Cabergoline because I can't tolerate the side effects. My prolactin level is 57 ( 4-30) and I have still quite regular period ( I'm 47). My endo told last time that I may have a hypopituitarism. I have low normal cortisol, very high DHEAS, low estrogen, low normal fT3 and fT4 and my growth hormone is too low. My main symptoms are all the time- anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, muscle weakness and pains, dizziness, weight loss, brain fog,  I can't make no sports, because I feel too fatigued after it. I also had very low libido which is better now, since I'm using bio identical estrogen gel.
My endo don't have the answer why I feel so bad, he suggested an antidepressant. But I know that my problems aren't only mental, I feel that in my body something is wrong and not o.k.
Is it so, that a pituitary disorder is causing such symptoms? Or maybe I need growth hormones? Or is it because of increased prolactin levels? But on Cabergoline I felt even worse, it makes me depressed, even more fatigued and I could stay in bed two days after the tab, so I don't want to restart it again.
Any advice?
Thank you!

Hi there. I see this is an old post. I was wondering if you have found any relief. I have similar symptoms but have also been diagnosed with PCOS which shares similar symptoms as well. I can never seem to determine which issue is causing what. PCOS diets which focus on low carbs can be helpful but really is never enough. the depression and anxiety also make follow through harder.

Is your endo a neuro-endo?

I would perhaps see another opinion and get more testing - as in stim testing for the growth hormone and GH. The doc cannot just say oh gee I think you are hypopit and leave you like that - low cortisol can kill a person if untreated and you get sick/have surgery etc - so he is not doing you any favors.

It looks like you get copies of your tests which is great - so now go on and get a wonderful doc. I suggest at a pituitary center. Travel if you have to. You have to stay on some prolactin med somehow - or the lesion can grow and it can get nasty. Talk to the pharmacist about how and when to dose, eating with it, and BTW the side effects do lessen over time. I felt like a truck hit me when I started mine too.

I am panhypopit - so I replace a lot too.

p.s. I forgot to mention that I have low ferritin-20 (20-220), although I'm taking good iron pills all the time. also my hemoglobin is in the lowest norm range.
