Should I see a neurologist? Brain fog/dysphasia??

I'm a 21/F with an underactive thyroid. I am seeing a specialist, and have been treated for the past 3 years. However, some of my symptoms are not going away, and some are worse. Lately in the past year or so I've noticed that I have a really hard time remembering things, such as names, movies, places. I have a hard time expressing myself with words. I can never find the right words. I also jumble words around, or say things that I didnt even mean to say. I know this happens to everyone, but they are flustered, but I notice this a lot, and even one of my friends pointed it out. I always lose my train of thought. When I talk to people sometimes I repeat the same word like 3 times, and stutter a little before I can go on because I dont remember how to continue on with my sentence. I'm always at a loss for words. I was never like this, I always felt sharp and quick cognitively, now I cant speak/think quick enough. My endocrinologist told me its brain fog and that it will go away, but its not going away, and it's getting worse. I just feel weird, like my emotions are so flat, and I feel really apathetic. Other things that haven't gone away since taking thyroid is frequent urination, and I also started getting migraines. I don’t have them all the time, but when they do happen I seem to have one for 2 days or so. Usually every 2-3 weeks I get a really bad one, especially after waking up. I've never had migraines before. I'm very tired during the day, even if I get 8+ hours of sleep. I seem to get deja vu more often. I've never had any blurry vision/ loss of feeling or seizures but sometimes my eyes shake left and right. My endocinologist said its nystagmus, and its nothing to worry about. My aunt also had a cancerous tumor in a pituitary gland I believe, she found it when she was 20. Not sure if that can be related? I seriously feel like I'm getting stupid. Cognitively things are just going downhill. Am I being dramatic? Or does this sound like I should see a neurologist?

Interesting.  Sounds like what I got when I was on Accutane 10 years ago and still experience that now.

I have different ideas regarding your case.  I think you are having an allergic reaction to your medication.  You need to consult with your physician and get a second and third opinion... meaning go to a couple different doctors until you find a really great and knowlegeable one who cares for people and not just dollar signs.

I've also been EXTREMELY itchy... always on my legs for some reason.

Driving @ night has also started to bother me, the lights hurt my eyes.

I've never felt like this, even with having an underactive thyroid.

I feel like I've really hit a brick wall...

any ideas?
