acoustic neuroma?

i have been dizzy for about 4 months now. have seen my GP, ENT, ER (3 times) and neurologist

did blood work, ENG,allergy, hearing, and 2 catscans, all came back normal

the ENT now seems to think its allergies, but is sending me for aMRI to rule out acousitc neuroma.....scary!....

i guess im asking is this normal with dizziness??.....could its just be allergies??

IM SO SCARED AND DEPRESSED AND JUST WANT SOMEONE WITH ANSWERS

Hello,
If you've had 2 cat scans done recently it's unlikely it's a acoustic neuroma. But, this type is small, and they can see more with a mri. Good luck today, and hopefully you'll have some answers soon. At least you'll know if it's a tumor or not.

Let me know the outcome. Acustics neuromas can definitelty cause dizziness and tinitus. But most of the patients with dizziness have no tumor!!!
