Hi again.
It would be hard to tell whether the lump under your nipple is benign (probable secondary to fibrosis if there was a previous infection) or malignant without the benefit of a good physical examination and diagnostic evaluation.
I highly encourage you to see your doctor for evaluation.
Take care.
Hi =)
Few days ago i felt that my nipple and underarm was very pain >< then after that,the pain gone but i still hav the lump x.x The lump is fixed and hard,people said that normally breast cancer had one lump which is fixed and hard.My parents not around and i cant see doctor now.x.x
Hi.
How are you doing?
The abscess may not be secondary to breastfeeding. Inflammation of the areolar gland can produce abscess. This may be brought about by a break in the skin/areola, producing a superimposed infection and thus abscess formation. If there is an abscess, incision and drainage must be done and the specimen is sent to the pathologist for evaluation.
Good luck.
Thx =)
abscess of the areolar gland?o.o i never breastfeeding before >< but the lump was 1 cm like tat..
Hi.
According to the Surveillance, Epidmiology, and End Results (SEER) data, there was no breast cancer diagnosed under the age 20 years from 2001-2005. The median age at diagnosis was 61 years of age.
The tender lump in your areola could be a localized infection like an abscess of the areolar gland.
Please consult your doctor for proper evaluation.
Take care.
