Breast Biopsy Results

I wanted to understand a biopsy report I received, due to several different responses, I am confused. I have had 4 Aunts on Mothers side that have died from Breast Cancer, including myself having several Breast Biopsies and core Biopsy dine in the past. My Pathology reads as follows: Fibrocystic change with columnar alteration of lobules and usual type hyperplasia. Having gone thru so many biopsies I have been told in the past that I had Inflammatory Breast Cancer, but was assured by another doctor it wasn't without a biopsy being done, due to conflicting reports I was hoping to understand what the report meant and make my decisions from that point. Would appreciate any help in understanding this report.

I think you should post at the other site that the nurse responds to.

Also, you might consider having your results sent to a breast specialist for another opinion/clarification of the results. Or call the radiologist and ask that he/she go over the results with you. They should be willing to answer your questions and help you understand the findings.
