Breast Cyst, implant removal-- Infectious??

Hi, here's some quick background info: I had breast augmentation in Nov. 2006 (saline) and this May (18 months later) I developed a huge rash on my right breast.  The rash became a bruise, then the bruise morphed into a huge fluid filled blister-type thing.  It began bleeding and pussing all over.  This all developed within a week.  I went to my surgeon immediately after the blister showed and he cut it open.  He said that it was a cyst that had to be drained so we drained it for a week then come to find out that it was an infection and had eaten through all of the breast tissue in the area.  We could literally see my breast implant under a layer of muscle where he cut the quarter-size hole.  We immediately removed the right side implant and it's been out for 3 months already.  Are there any other people who've been through this or have seen this happen?  I'm terrified that it's more than what my doctor is saying it is (simply a cyst that got infected).  I'm worried that it could be a potentially worse condition but that he just doesn't want to tell me or is trying to cover his *** and not get sued.  Please, please, please help if you have any information I would really appreciate it.   Thanks!

Dear Yvette362:  Without evaluation, it is impossible for us to speculate on what this may be.  Further, as this is a breast cancer forum, our expertise is in breast cancer issues.  If you are concerned, you might consider a second opinion with another plastic surgeon or a medical breast specialist who can confirm the diagnosis and treatment plan.
