Breast cancer

My MRI said a segmental non masslike enhancement  in the outer lower right breast with washout kinetics. What does that mean? Today the radiologist doing my biopsy said it might just be vague dense tissue with asymmetric edges , there were also cysts present any idea? I'm 42 and my left breast is riddled with papillomatosis.

I would think that the Radiologists opinion about the vague dense tissue might be exactly what was seen on film. Some of the cysts may be the type that could contain both liquid and solid material ... this might show up oddly on film. The biopsy of course will tell you the true nature of the enhancement described. Remember that MRI is very sensitive and "sees" things that don't show up on other types of imagery. At this point anything would be just a guess ... you'll have to wait for the biopsy results for you answer. Take care .....
