Breast tenderness for about a month

I am 23 years old, healthy. I've always had regular cycles. About 2 months ago I took the day after pill, and my period came early (2 weeks early). About a week later, I started having breast tenderness (which happens every time before I get my period). The thing is, my period hasn't come (Im like 3 weeks late) and my breast are still hurting. I'm sure Im not pregnant since I already had 3 EPT done and are all negative. Do you think the day after pill messed up my cycle?

Dear scared girl patty, Breast pain is a common breast symptom.  The reason for breast pain is not clearly understood, and is not usually associated with breast cancer.  Breast pain is sometimes associated with hormonal variations and is then called cyclical breast pain.  Noncyclical breast pain does not seem to be linked to hormonal variations and is often localized to one area of the breast tissue.  Noncyclical breast pain may or may not be the result of an injury to the breast.
